Career Opportunity Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Division

Continental Tool Group is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will reside in the United States and report to the Director of North America Industrial Sales. This role focuses on driving revenue growth within the pneumatic and handheld power tool industry in the United States, utilizing industrial, construction, and related distribution channels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing sales opportunities, as well as creating and executing strategic sales plans. Strong leadership and coaching skills will be essential in training and supporting the sales team(s).  The compensation package reflects experience and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the training and development of the sales team, ensuring a strategic and efficient travel schedule that balances growth opportunities and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to identify, pursue, and close sales leads; demonstrate and educate end users and sales teams on company products.
  • Utilize CRM tools, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and Outlook to track, analyze, and report sales activities effectively.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy based on market analysis and defined goals.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities that could impact company performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing sales teams and working with independent manufacturers’ representatives.
  • Strong track record of developing and maintaining relationships with distributors and end users.
  • Mechanical aptitude to effectively demonstrate and communicate product functionality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proximity to major airports to facilitate efficient business travel.
  • Reliable high-speed internet access for remote work and communication.
